Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is announcing today that there will be a new Starbucks coffee opening in late fall of 2023 on the property.
The new store will be the closest Starbucks to downtown Schenectady in the Capital Region.
Construction is set to begin soon.
The new Starbucks will be located near the casino’s Event Center – between the entrance to the gaming floor and The Landing Hotel.

We’re thrilled to be able to have such an iconic brand that our guests know and love right here at Rivers.”
Other details:
- The 1500-square-foot full-service Starbucks will offer a complete menu including freshly brewed coffee and hot teas, blended beverages, smoothies, pastries, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go snacks.
- Upon opening, operating hours are scheduled to be from 5:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.
- Guests will be able use the Starbucks mobile app to place orders and earn Stars – redeemable for rewards including free food, drinks, and more.
- The new Starbucks will be staffed by Rivers Team Members, and the casino expects to hire 15 new employees solely dedicated to the coffeehouse.
- Starbucks joins the casino’s five distinctive restaurants adjacent to the casino floor – Dukes Chophouse, Flipt, Johnny’s To-Go and Mian, along with Villa Italia – in offering guests a complete range of excellent food and beverage offerings.
