Restaurant Appreciation Week Celebrates the Spirit of Thanksgiving

Downtown Schenectady Restaurants Cook Up a Week of Custom Dining Specials, November 16-22

 SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – NOV. 11, 2020 – More than a dozen restaurants will be offering up a custom selection of dining specials during the first-ever Downtown Schenectady Restaurant Appreciation Week, November 16-22. Ranging from fixed-price menus to family-style take-out, the special offers during both lunch and dinner allow participating restaurants to showcase what makes them special while encouraging customers to show their support. The promotion is coordinated by the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC).

Jim Salengo, executive director of the DSIC, said, “Restaurant Appreciation Week features a wide variety of specials for both dine-in and take-out to satisfy everyone’s dining preferences and comfort level.” He added, “As we approach Thanksgiving in what has been a very challenging year, it is more important than ever for the public to express their gratitude to our outstanding local businesses by enjoying some delicious meals with family and friends. In return, I can assure you that they will be even more thankful for the community’s support.”
