SCHENECTADY, NY – February 8, 2024 – New York Autoflowers, a retail shop specializing in cannabis seeds and growing equipment, celebrated its grand opening yesterday in a new storefront at 34 Jay Street during a ceremony hosted by the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC).
New York Autoflowers is a cannabis seed company that designs cannabis strains for the Northeast climate. This means all of their photoperiod strains finish in late September or early October, and their autoflowering strains can allow outdoor farmers two to three harvests per season. Additionally, the shop carries growing supplies and indoor tent kits of various sizes.
“As a native Schenectadian, born and raised, I’m very excited to share my passion for cannabis and love for growing with my community,” said owner Joe Glasby.
The sealed seed packs range in size from 1 to 50 seeds as well as custom sized orders to meet the needs of first-time growers all the way to professional cultivators. New York Autoflowers offers classes and comprehensive consultations on autoflower genetics, smell mitigation, growing, and processing. Because cannabis seeds are legal to possess, sell, and ship, customers are also able to purchase these items online.
