City of Schenectady Road Closure on Nott Street Beginning May 11, 2020

Traffic alert for those traveling in and around Downtown Schenectady during the week of May 11, 2020:

Starting on Monday, May 11th, 2020, Nott Street between Park Place and Maxon Road will be closed to all traffic for a period of five days.

During this upcoming week, Carver Construction, Inc. of Altamont, New York, will be crossing this section of Nott Street for continuation of the Stockade sewer improvement project toward the city’s sewage treatment plant on Anthony Street.

Westbound Nott Street traffic will be detoured onto Park Place and to Union Street while eastbound Nott Street traffic will be detoured around the project on Maxon Road, Peek Street and Foster Avenue. Drivers should consider alternate routes during this period.
