Bel Cibo Bistro to Celebrate Grand Re-Opening in Downtown Schenectady

October 13, 2017Jim Salengo

(Schenectady, NY, October 13, 2017) – The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) announces that popular restaurant Bel Cibo Bistro, located at 96 Jay Street, will present a special Grand Re-Opening and Customer Appreciation Day celebration on Sunday, October 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bel Cibo Bistro has been in business for more than seven years, offering Paninis, soups, wraps and salads to the Downtown Schenectady community. Partners Jeanette Massaro and Cristal Sabatini have recently revamped the restaurant, which has resided at its current location since 2015, and updated their day and evening menu offerings to serve an evolving customer base.

Says Jeanette Massaro, “We are thrilled to now offer home-cooked ‘Suppers to Go’ for busy local families and working professionals, including meatloaf, mac n’ cheese, pork tenderloin and classic Italian standbys, all served with a house salad and bread for two or four people.”

Largely based on customer feedback, Bel Cibo Bistro has updated its evening menu and will now showcase 14 new small plate dishes, along with select favorites from their daytime menu. The restaurant has also overhauled its catering menu for luncheons and events and will market its space as a location for special occasions, including a full-service beer and wine bar.

During the October 15 festivities, Bel Cibo Bistro will offer samples from their new menu, live music, drink specials, a FREE photo booth and special raffles. At Noon, the eatery will hold a special “Cake Cutting” ceremony to officially relaunch its refreshed business.
