2025 Downtown Schenectady Hometown Heroes Banner Program
The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) with the City of Schenectady presents the eleventh year of our popular Hometown Heroes Banner Program. This program proudly recognizes active duty and veteran service members, both living and deceased. Each banner honors a specific Schenectady service member and features their name, branch of service, and photo. Banners are being displayed on street lamps in Downtown Schenectady along State Street (from Veterans Park to Washington Avenue) and Clinton Street by the Central Library through Veterans Day in November.
The banners will hung the week of May 14, below is the link to approximate placement of all the banners.
